Our own member, Jane Burke, Master Gardener 2010 talked about and shared her experiences on “Going Organic“. Jane presented ways in which this transition could be made without our gardens being overrun be diseases, weeds and insects. She explained the importance of making plants healthier through compost and compost tea, thereby improving our soils and the soil food web, which makes quiet a difference. Her talk was very informative and all attendees received valuable information.
