August 2017 Monthly Meeting

Posted on June 16, 2017August 23, 2017 by Becky Wolary

Our August meeting of the Gwinnett County Master Gardeners Association welcomed Gail Zorn, flower grower extraordinaire, who shared her story on becoming a farmer – the “Journey to Daybreak Flower Farm.”

Gail is passionate about creating beauty from this good earth and told us how her beautiful lavender and cut flower farm in Loganville came to be.  As she talked,  she put together three different flower arrangements that were given away as door prizes.  She gave tips on general flower arranging, color coordination and combining the different types of flowers and greenery.  A very informative and wonderful program.
