We were most happy to have Eric Bowles, a fine art nature photographer, judge and host our annual member Photo Contest! Ann Landrey, our Photo Contest Chair, put together a wonderful PowerPoint presentation of all the entry pictures. Eric commented and complimented each winning entry while educating those attending to some fine points of taking good pictures. Eric’s work can be seen at www.bowlesimages.com.
Many of our gardeners enjoyed taking snapshots of their gardens and landscapes as well as those of birds, wildlife, yard art and bugs and share their wonderful picture. There were twelve different categories – even one for iPhone pictures and first time entries from pictures taken in 2016. Beautiful to see and inspirational too!
