Gwinnett County Master Gardener Association’s August meeting featured Sheri Dorn, an, Extension Horticulturist and State Master Gardener Coordinator at the University of Georgia in Griffin. She has served as an Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent in Roanoke, VA and managed a family retail nursery and landscaping business with her husband.
Sheri chose “Color in the Garden” for her topic last night showing over 100 pictures to demonstrate sources of color for our gardens. She highlighted bloom, foliage, and bark with a plant list illustrating her suggestions and also presented the plants by seasonal colors. Our members enjoyed the talk and obtained many ideas.
